Chris Heuer leads a non-profit called BrainJams.org that helps organizations and communities host conversations amongst stakeholders for the purpose of sharing knowledge and solving problems. Chris’ unique gift is pattern recognition, facilitation and idea generation – in his world, there is no box, just unlimited possibilities that require nurturing. He specializes in providing insights on holistic business strategy for big brands, non-profits and emerging technology companies, helping them leverage the power of social media and Web 2.0 technologies such as Blogs, tags, social networks and user generated content.
He has 12+ years of Internet startup/consulting experience and even deeper experience with marketing communications. Chris has previously taught classes at Miami Ad School in Web design, interactive advertising and convergence marketing. Prior clients include Bombardier, The Tribune, Palm and The City of Miami Beach in addition to hundreds of smaller businesses. He serves on the boards of ModelNetwork, Inc. and Trust Event Solutions in addition to being an advisory board member for BuzzLogic.
