Jeska Dzwigalski is the Community Manager for Linden Lab, the creators of the virtual world Second Life, where she has worked since the summer of 2004. Her previous work experience included working as the Web Integrator for Borders.com. At Linden, she works closely with the in-world volunteer groups and as an all around Second Life Community advocate. Jeska received her Masters in Digital Media from the University of Denver, where she worked with the cable news channel C-SPAN on an innovative distance learning program.
Jeska also previously worked at the San Jose Museum of Art, where she helped to bring more technological interaction to the exhibitions. Jeska also holds a dual BA in English and Communication from the University of Detroit-Mercy. She presented at the 2005 Second Life Community Convention and is on their advisory board, she also presented at the Make Fest during this year's O'Reilly Emerging Technology Conference.
