Kate Raynes-Goldie - telecentre.org Online Strategy Project Lead, TakingITGlobal

 

Kate is a practitioner, writer and researcher with an expertise in internet culture and online community. She has a degree in Semiotics and Philosophy from the University of Toronto, Canada and is also a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre's new media lab. She's presented her research at a number of international academic conferences and has been published in the Globe and Mail and First Monday. Kate works at TakingITGlobal where she managing and developing the telecentre.org online strategy and driving site innovations. Kate is also a DDR fiend.
