Join us for the San Francisco Net Tuesday on September 9:
Involver: How Nonprofits Can Create Video Campaigns for Social Networks.
What's really new on the web? What tools have the greatest potential to help nonprofits? What are the barriers nonprofits face when trying to use social web tools? What are nonprofits using now, and what tools are they wishing for? What's going to happen next?
NetSquared's initial goal was to start a global conversation about how the social web can be used for social change. In this spirit, we asked for community input on questions like those above in our 4 questions, on Net2Ask, on the Wishlist, with our Social Web Survey, and on our Next Actions list, and got a ton of inspired answers, stories and ideas. These conversations have helped to bring NetSquared to the next level, as we seek to turn the best nonprofit ideas into real tools for social change.
While the next NetSquared Conference will focus on action rather than conversation, we're keeping the archive of the first year conversation right here, and by no means do we expect the conversation to end.
The global conversation is in full swing, and we welcome you to continue to share your thoughts and ideas on the NetSquared blog and at Net Tuesday events, and to bring these conversations to your organization, events, and online communities.
All of the resource centers and information on Net2Learn are still available for your reading pleasure. However, we are not accepting new resource center submissions or additions. Thanks to everyone who contributed to Net2Learn resource centers. Many have found them great resources, and we hope to be able to make Net2Learn fully functional and better than ever in the not-too-distant future
