Give ICE a red card
Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids are a constant fear for immigrants. Even those who are here on a visa or have legal status know that they do not have the same rights as citizens, and are afraid they too might get caught up in immigration enforcement activities by local and federal law enforcement. ICE officers have been known to intimidate and trick immigrants into making self-incriminating statements or signing deportation orders (which they may not even be able to read), even misleading them about their fundamental rights. When they violate immigrants’ rights, we want to give ICE a red card and kick them out of the game.
