The Libre Social Network for Education is a focused effort to make it reasonably simple to deploy a large distributed social network based on free software across computer networks in educational institutions. In Peru, the project has already committed to assisting in the deployment of over 200 computer labs and over 2300 client desktop computers, fostering a network of learning communities.
