Helping kids with a financial need in the motorsport world.

Challenges Entered:
Our primary goal is to raise funds to assist children ages 5 to 18 involved in motor sports.  These funds provide equipment and cover other expenses to enable the children we sponsor to continue to compete in this exciting and challenging sport.  Every child deserves to be able to compete in their selected sport, regardless of their economic means. The average cost per child per year to be competitively involved in racing is $10,000.00; many can not afford to compete without assistance.  In this day and age, encouraging children to do something positive is of increasing importance.  A sport is one mechanism to provide the focus, discipline and self-esteem so many children need today.

What else have you done in this area of work?

With the help of many corporations and volunteers we will have fundraising events. Working with companies and people like you we will succeed in fulfilling the dream.  They are our future Drivers; they are the future Racing Industry.

Project goals:
Young Racers of America was created simply due to the need of so many children that have a passion to participate in motorsports. Some children dream of playing Pro-football or Baseball when they grow up.  They see their favorite player out there playing the game.  They join the local little leagues and practice hard, they grow up and get scholarships and play in college and pray they make it pro.  Now what is the difference between the children who want to play ball compared to the child who wants to race?   Non-profit corporations that will help make their dreams come true.  Just about every sport or performing arts division has a financial support system to help them along the way; racing was left for those whose families had money, or connections.  We wanted to help
Identified Obstacles:
We need the finances to help every child with the need.  We do not want to turn any one that is qualified down due to lack of funds.  Every child deserves the chance to participate in their sport of choice.
