Purpose Media

Challenges Entered:

Purpose Media International was developed to promote the awesome ways businesses, schools, causes, foundations and day-to-day people playing an active role in giving back to society through media content development. Through the web this content can be distributed to millions of people, helping change the landscape of the view of the web today. Also, this will empower (through our education initative) our youth to begin using their media talent and other artistic abilities to capture people doing great things, enabling them to think like givers at a young age. Media Components: Video, Voice (Talkshows & Podcasts) & Print (Reach News)Production Team: Currently connected with a non-profit for educating the film/acting community www.houstonfilm.org. (we are currently seeking a national solution to deploying many teams to capture this content with professional equipment) will help capture and create this content through authentic development (no scripting) interviews, street-views/questions, sequense commercials, comedic scene production, impromtu subject speaking engagements and general knowledge capture.  

What else have you done in this area of work?

I was in the business of promoting people for 8 years, the Executive Search Industry. As much as I loved helping executives/attorneys realize and capture their career dream, I knew there was something more. I have an immense love for people in need and know there is a way to get their message out beyond our wildest imagination.

I, personally, don't really have any experience in something of this nature, but nothing is impossible. We have spent the last 7 months developing and cultivating relationships with people who share the aligning purpose and are committed to the message of Purpose Media International. We are also actively working new channels for awareness, partnerships for education and training, content development and media distribution.

Project goals:

The media content we develop and distribute will change the world's view of media. Our youth and the world can now see and be seen as people displaying their true talents while supporting the needy through giving their time, talent and treasure, through playing an active role in giving back to society and capturing this conent.

Identified Obstacles:

We would LOVE help developing mashups (one template, many sites) for the following sites, and more to come: women4purpose, businessforpurpose, mediaforcause....etc. These would include a video player, podcast station, testimonials, volunteer opps, e-newsletter "Reach News", and places for business-sponsored cause advertising. Contest for Content, Map and location pointer (Like a Santa Tracker for Purpose Media Int'l) Schedule your commercial/panel discussion or interivew. troubled youth help

This is great to here about a great vision of an organization. Hope all your efforts reach most of the troubled youth and make them come out of disorders and make themselves responsible towards life.
