It discusses public policy management,IT solutions to common enterprise development, economic espionage, tourism, natural and environmental resource management in Uganda and Africa.Visitors will get a citizen-based perception of the Uganda and Africa. The potential of Uganda and Africa in this rapidly competitive world is not in dispute. The free movement of people now requires information for people to make a choice of where the final destination should be. Investment potential and trade opportunities are vital informations which visitors will find important on this site.Uganda is host to the most endangered species of fauna and flora.It is found at the equator, a tropical country, rain fed-agricultur producing organic foods.Sits right at the top of the larget fresh water L.Victoria.It is the source of the Great River.Nile, a river with one of the greatest Bujagali falls where skiing is the main thrill. We are proud of the many game reserves and parks that have witnessed the emergence of community tourism as a model of improving community benefits in tourism.

The Media Blog has been developed with information that is balanced and constructive aimed at building institutional and community capacity at addressing development needs of the country and the continent. It is a product of the The Harris GroupÂ platform whose energy is built around a skills bank. We mobilize professional expertize for community building harnessing our talents to Learn, Develop and Lead.

This project will help highlight a balanced picture of events in Uganda and Africa. The world is rapidly globalizing and unfortunately Africa's momentum in the convergence aspects is slow. The process of drafting young people into responsible community builders is still snail-paced. Using technology, I believe I can tell the Ugandan and Africa story to the world in my own way. Yes, there is the traditional media but technology has provided me with tools to play my role in a quick, low-cost and effective way. Uganda Economic Intelligence Unit is a media platform that projects the view of a Uganda citizen, a young man who at the age of 9 lost his parents due to civil strife. A young man who lost his childhood to a political insurection by crafting into the military thus dropping out of school in 1981. A young man who went back-to-school 5 years later(1987) and regained his freedom and today wants to tell the story based on his historical perspective.Uganda Intelligence Unit(UIU) is a solution based media blog. It discusses public policy,IT solutions to common enterprise development, economic espionage, tourism, natural and environmental resource management in Uganda and Africa.It is the African story of optism.
