Wiser Earth is a nonprofit and social justice community that includes members from around the world.  However, they are now seeking to expand their resources to support the huge number of non-English speakers who use to WiserEarth so they can become a more effective global resource.  They hope to encourage their members to use WiserEarth in their own language.  How to make this happen?  Well, the good news is, you can help!

The Mobile Premier Awards (MPA) 2010 are due to take place in February as part of the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona.  These awards offer recognition for Mobile Startup Innovation, and provide an possible opportunity to pitch in front of investors, bloggers and press, media companies and peers.

Due to budget cuts brought on by the economic crisis, Peacework Magazine has had to close as a printed publication.  For nearly 40 years, this magazine has covered peace and justice movements and championed "empowerment journalism." 

Although Peacework's life as a magazine is ending, the former co-editors are spearheading a transition into a new online Peacework that would serve as a blogging platform and networking site for non violent activists hoping to "wage peace and justice" throughout the world.

The RSA is seeking Social Entrepreneurs to provide mentorship for Teach First Social Ambassadors in the coming year.  Teach First Social Ambassadors are graduates of the Teach First program, who are looking to make a positive differece in the world of education, especially addressing educational disadvantage.

Global Cool, a charity that targets climate change by encouraging people to lower their carbon footprint, has a job opening!

This small, creative organization aims to tap the "trendy" sector of the UK and provide ways to make climate change cool.  They are seeking a tech savvy individual with a strong knowledge of social media and the ability to enthusiastically motivate the public.  The job duration is permanent, and the salary offered is £35-40k per annum.  Global Cool is based in Central London and this Manager needs to be in the office about twice a week, but can be based anywhere the rest of the time.
