Hi! I'm Lucy Hooberman and I am  currently setting up a new nonprofit in the UK with a big group of friends and links with the US.  My background is in community television and enabling unheard voices to break through onto television, but for several years now I've been working in an innovation unit at the BBC, based in the New Media Division.  Some of the projects have a public face, some are more internal like getting the BBC to begin to join in the global conversation that is the blogosphere.  But I've taken a holiday from all that to come to NetSquared as founder and founding pledger behind MentoringWorldwide, a new orgnisation which will use all freely available text and voice IP tools and enable people with skills in one part of the world to mentor people in the developing world over the internet. In fact there are a handful of other pledgers coming to this conference and I'm keen  to meet others who would like to get involved, get tips and advice, as well as form plans for the next stage,
