Following the lead of many others who have introduced themselves, I thought I'd add a little hello and a brief intro.

I'm Jennie, part of the NetSquared Team. Formerly the Producer but now moving into a new role as Partner Relations Manager.

This Challenge season has been amazing and as I reflect back on the last 8 months or so, I am truly in awe. We have seen hundreds of innovative and socially progressive Projects submitted from 50+ countries. But the best part of it all, at least from my perspective, was watching the growing and evolving nature of community to Project (and Project to Project) collaboration. This is what it's all about folks. Collaboration!

The Yahoo! Green Award is back for its third year at the N2Y4 Conference. Yahoo! is committed to empowering our communities to make a positive impact on the environment and is looking for innovative uses of technology that will inspire people to use social technology to help the environment. The most innovative green technology project from the NetSquared Global Project Gallery, reviewed by Yahoo!, will receive a $5,000 Yahoo! Search Marketing award. The winner will be announced at the N2Y4 Conference.

Yep, it’s true – the voting system for the N2Y4 and Social Actions’ Challenges is experiencing difficulties. There’s a snag somewhere and we’re hard at work trying to figure it all out. What does that mean for you? It means if you are trying to register as a new user the system will not generate a password nor will it allow you to login.

Hey Folks, 

NetSquared will be undergoing some scheduled maintenance over the weekend and access to the site may be limited at times. Not to worry, we’ll be back up and running strong by Monday morning for the launch of the 2008 USAID Development 2.0 Challenge.
