Want a N2Y3 recap? View attendee blogs, vlogs and comments at Be NetSquared.
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that we're doing some updates to the "Share" section of the site in order to better support the N2Y3 Mashup Challenge.
Please excuse our mess as we work through the transition in real time. We're expecting to have the majority of the work wrapped up by Monday, February 11th at 5 PM, Pacific Time.
If you have any questions or concerns please email me at: erin@techsoup.org.
Thanks!
~ Erin Handy
Hi NetSquared Community!
YouthNoise is launching a new Initiative, next week, called Right To Learn!
Right To Learn is directed towards making sure youth stories and ideas are heard in the Education Reform policy discussions as the Governor’s “Year of Education Reform” unfolds in 2008.
simple ... yet effective.
this is one a slew of widgets we just launched in partnership with peta2 and their "i'm not a nugget" campaign. thousands of people have already passed it on in the last week or so since we've launched -> yay!
thanks if you've passed it on and if you haven't ... please consider taking 30 seconds to click in and post out to your places ... offer feedback on the experience if you're so inclined. many thanks in advance.
i have some stickers if you're interested (leave a comment with where to send them...)
see all of them here:
Only 5 days left to get YouthNoise’s “Youth Social Venture Fund” voted to TOP 50!
The Members Project, Launched by American Express, gives cardholders the opportunity to vote for and rate groundbreaking, community-submitted projects. For every person that registers and votes for a project, American Express will put $1 towards the fund, up to $5 MILLION.
HELP! What can you do?
If you have an American Express Card:

Greetings N2Y2! I've uploaded the podcasts of the footage Britt had from Tuesday's Opening Session / Intro to the Projects!
I apologize to WiserEarth, Freecycle, Family Farmed, Big Brother & Big Sisters and MapLight that your intros didn't make it into this batch. I didn't receive the source!
Update May 30: All the Project Intro Presentations have been uploaded to the Podcast.
Greetings Net2Y2!!!
I am thrilled to be participating in this year's event. I heard that I'm going to be a "session monitor". I believe it involves clock watching and scurrying people from one room to another. In the true nature of my name ... if you need help, just ask, I'm Handy.
For the last few years, I was at TechSoup as a Project Manager. I love TS and all the work you do!!! I am so excited to see everyone again.
As of May 1st, I began working at http://www.YouthNOISE.org as Executive Web Producer. I am LOVING new my role here at YN. We have some really exciting Programs in development that we'll be launching *right* before the Conference into Beta ... so, I'm looking forward to evangelizing the feature set and getting your feedback.
Hi Net2 !!!
Please check out the video we made at my new job at YouthNOISE.org in support of HHP's launch this weekend.
PLEASE take a moment to watch the video and spread the word.
More info on YN here:

#1 PULSEWIRE!!!!
#2 Farmer 2 Farmer Learning
#3 Change.org
#4 Games for Change
#5 ManorMeta
... as I type this my colleague just leaned over and said "Hey! Vote for Dropping Knowledge!!!" ... hey, get your own votes!
... maybe I need to work next on my 6 - 10 votes.
... i can also always change it through Saturday.
... but PulseWire will continue to be my #1. I just love you!
gina, colleen and i went to a fundraising house party for pulsewire last night. i was completely blown AWAY by the vision of the site.
i've heard the pitch before ... but there was something about the way she spoke that blew me out of the water and i really "got it" ... i'm super excited about the potential of this platform for the women of the world.
i actually had tears in my eyes.
these women are changing the world ... and i hope their right ... i hope it will be a volcano of change that erupts to the universe once women can be heard and empowered to share their stories. in their own words. they know what they need already.
Greetings!
