I vowed to post something from my heart about the Health Panel Expo to the two "hall monitors" when they asked..... so here I am, showing up, giving the love. One long run-on sentance at a time. <3
I am really impressed and excited after reading the agenda for The Health Panel Expo, which will be starting in just a few hours. The truth is, there needs to be more "expos" like this in our worlds, no matter if virtual or irl. It's a bit more serious and planned than the "carnival" definition; but just as effective in bringing together cultures, ideas, passions, and light.
What is the core of health, anyway? The coming together is the core. Coming together, back to yourself, or with the "cure" so desperately needed...this is what gives us the foundation, the data, to expose truths rarely evident until extracted and attached to the issues we care most about.
Who cares? We have to care in order to fix what is broken. Truth is an action and it lives right there, inside of you and me. Come see for yourself what this is all about. You can just stop by. Opt-In participation, always ... no matter what world you're in.
How does action relate to health? Simple example >>> you are what you eat. We're not so separate after all now, are we? The exicting part of this hybrid health expo is that there is an inherent breaking down of the walls that separate. Now, I know, this is an evolution, of opportunity, happening before our eyes, if we make it so.
Think about what you would talk about in the light ... *expo*se ... regarding your health, if you weren't afraid of retribution in some way ... Just think for a moment of what it means to be virtual slaves to the healthcare / insurance system ...The integration of virtual and real world realities offers a level of support rarely so cozy or potent. Change becomes especially vivid and noticable for those with disabilities, or in the lgbtqqi communities, women, poor, ethnic minorities, seniors / elders, servicemembers, and our vetrans, retired and wounded.
I was asked today what the difference was between Social Change and Social Justice. Well ... I said ... You can have Change without Justice ... but no Justice without Change. I was surprised that something so simple and logical could come from my heart. It's the truth tho, it seems.
If the agenda to change the conversations regarding support, tools, and healing can happen here, in this mashed up meeting place ... well, I say ... awesome, and lucky us. It doesn't mean that it's still not a hard conversation to have. But we will at least have hope for Justice. That hope is precious. Use it to glue your health into your heart and heal the bits that keep you back. Not to be cheezy but ... Yes, you can.
That would sure beat any war, any day, any world, in my book...or a hospital stay, for that matter.
Best wishes from Agent Handy to the #npslexpo Creators and Participants tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May this multi-world event bring ripples of healing and be a model for expert sharing expos around the globe. (Yes, the multiple exclamation points were intentional.)
