pulsewire blew me away last night
gina, colleen and i went to a fundraising house party for pulsewire last night. i was completely blown AWAY by the vision of the site.
i've heard the pitch before ... but there was something about the way she spoke that blew me out of the water and i really "got it" ... i'm super excited about the potential of this platform for the women of the world.
i actually had tears in my eyes.
these women are changing the world ... and i hope their right ... i hope it will be a volcano of change that erupts to the universe once women can be heard and empowered to share their stories. in their own words. they know what they need already.
they are going to be submitting their project so stay tuned for more info!

Now everywhere I go with my fancy new phone (which takes video and gets online) I'm thinking of how to connect with women in the Global South. Will they be in my "fave five"? Will I be in theirs? (i don't have a fave five just for the record ... but if i did, i would want those women there.) Will I have virtual missed connections ... is that even possible?
I'm obsessed with RSSing CraigsList for the east bay now that I live over there. I can't wait to spend some time connecting with these women and hearing their stories. I think we only have begun to scratch the surface of what we have to share.
ACD mentioned being interested in doing a Net Tuesday ... how do we make that happen?
