NetSquared teaming up with Sun Microsystems to produce global Hack Days. Sao Paolo, Brazil was a success on October 1, stay tuned for an update. Next up, China!
Today we're launching a new feature on NetSquared: Net2Learn. Net2Learn (http://learn.netsquared.org) is a collection of resource centers on topics that matter to nonprofits: topics like Online P.R. for nonprofits, Managing an online community forum, and 10 tools you need now. Best of all, Net2Learn makes it easy for you to contribute your favorite web links, resources and examples to each resource center -- or to create a new resource center yourself.
And we're kicking off with a feature that should speak to a lot of of NetSquared users: Blogging for Nonprofits. This resource center provides a crash course in blogging for nonprofits, tackling the question of whether & why a nonprofit should start bloggging -- as well as how you can get started. If you've been thinking about starting a blog for your nonprofit, the Blogging for Nonprofits resource center can walk you through the process. If you're already blogging, the case studies and links can offer you further inspiration.
And whether you're a blogging newbie or an experienced nonprofit blogger, we hope you'll share the insights and resources that have helped to shape your own blogging practice. Join the Blogging for nonprofits resource center and you'll be able to add your ideas to our feature on Getting started with blogs; or add your favorite resources to our collection of weblinks. And even if you haven't joined the resource center team, you'll be able to add your comments to our forum discussion on How can I use blogging in my nonprofit?.
Look for more useful resource centers in the weeks ahead -- or start building your own today. And please let us know if we can help!
