Wow..its been a hectic 5 day window of opportunity for social change agents. AMIS-CAMEROON extends its gratitude to FACT and Netsquared for hosting another Change Oriented Program.
So what next? This is a question that preoccupies some if not ALL of us.
We think this challenge has given us all the chance to network in different ways with other project initiators, and it is important that we continue the cooperation long after the curtain on this challenge finally folds with the announcement of the featured projects and subsequent winners.
Thanks for a dynamic community that is always there to encourage us through our endeavours.

AMIS PROJECT
Amis Project is really a very innovative project. Ever since I first heard about the project and read through its goals and objectives, I realise that this is what the farmers of Cameroon really do need to face their plight. Its goal of making good use of both worlds that is combining old farming methods with modern technology is a very bold idea that stands to success if it is given an opportunity to carry the goal into practice. Using Sms to inform farmers and keep them up to date about agricultural information is un heard of in this part of Africa and thus stands to be a very winning and innovative idea that is worth utilsing to help farmers. I believe Amis has the potential to contribute to the betterment of the rural farmers especially in line with the UN Millienium Development goals. It is a good demonstration of the confidence it has in its ideas to come into this social change net work.
Keeping Our Fingers Crossed
Thank you,
