January Net Tuesday SF: Susan Gordon from Causes (the Facebook App)

Net Tuesdays are free monthly gatherings for social changemakers and web innovators to network, socialize and share ideas about how nonprofits and social benefit organizations can use the social web for social change. Net Tuesdays are an initiative of NetSquared, a Project of TechSoup.

January's Event

In January we'll hear from Susan Gordon, the Senior Nonprofit Coordinator of Causes. Susan works with Causes' over 3,000 nonprofit partners and over 12 million users to build and manage successful online communities using Facebook and MySpace. Susan received her B.A. in History from Dartmouth, where she focused on issues of race, ethnicity, and immigration. She has worked as a political organizer, communications specialist for a women's nonprofit in Cambodia, and leader of an organization providing outdoor activities and mentors for rural youth in New Hampshire.
