To celebrate 25 years of great work, Lasa is hosting a couple events to showcase ideas and bring together those from different areas touched by Lasa's work. The first event was held recently, "Travelling Without Moving - Getting Left Behind by ICT Developments." Paul Johnston, the Head of Cisco's European public sector team, spoke about online communities, and how some of these new technologies can help solve old problems. Aba Maison, Lasa's IST Team Leader, presented options for how the third sector can use ICT more effectively.
The next event, titled "Mind the Gap: how can the third sector survive through tough times?" will be held in London on 4 November. For more details, visit the Lasa website here.
