NetSquared Local events provide a chance to connect locally with all those interested in the intersection of social technologies and social change. There are new groups forming every week: Join in!
Last week, the NetSquared Community voted on the N2Y4 Mobile Challenge to determine the 15 Featured Projects who will be invited to compete for $50K in cash-prizes and additinoal in-kind resources at this year's N2Y4 Conference.
The NetSquared Team extends a big thanks to all Project-submitters, voters and community members who participated in this process. Your participation this year has been tremendous!
Note: Although our voting machine is in sore need of an upgrade, we're grateful for the actionable feedback the community has provided to inform the ongoing development of NetSquared's community-driven Innovation process. Stay tuned for updates about what we're doing to make this process better for Projects and Voters in the days to come.
NetSquared is pleased to announce the NetSquared Mobile Challenge Featured Projects.
*Please note: Featured Projects are listed in alaphabetical order.
All Featured Project teams will receive an Orientation Kit from NetSquared shortly with all the information necessary for conference registration, participation, and more.
The N2Y4 Conference takes place May 26-27, 2009, and brings together the Featured Projects as well as leaders in philanthropy, corporate philanthropy, engineering, media and world-class innovators driving the development, distribution and use of social technologies for progressive change.
The conference provides participants an opportunity to attend interactive sessions facilitated by leaders working at the cross-roads of technology and social change; create new collaborations, and participate in a uniquely democratic approach to funding innovation through the Project voting process.
All conference attendees have an opportunity to share their perspective and insights from the field with competing Projects, and vote to fund N2Y4 Mobile Challenge winning Projects competing for $50k in cash-prizes and in-kind resources.
