How do you spend your time when you're not organizing Net Tuesdays?

I am deputy secretary for the Lomé 3rd district Youth Council, the général tresure of Action pour les Victimes de la Route, and a computer lecture in NCI. I was delegate in the fourth World Urban Forum in China. I also took part of the ROJALNU-OMD web site development team and am an active member of "Réseau des Ouest Africain des Jeunes Leaders des Nations Unies pour l'Atteinte des Objectifs du Millénaire pour le développement". I also enjoy exchanging ideas with colleagues after service when I do not travel out and meet others colleagues by studying how establishing partnerships and creating synergies with overseas for international events in Lomé.

What inspired you to organize local Net Tuesday events in your community?

The ambition to build an inclusive society for Lomé, where every young leader can display his or her views about development issues and participate in debate that should bring a social change in the community. Therefore the Netsquared organizing was to be the right formula or opportunity to meet in an official manner. Lomé Netsquared is also planning to set an IT demonstration and trainning for the youth during vacations. It will consist of promoting the good uses of ICT for youth.

What is the hardest part of the job?

Fund raising.

How do you measure the success of your events?

Our success is the acheivement of a large member to our monthly event.

Tell us about the best Net Tuesday event - what did you learn from that experience?

It was interesting when the topic was appreciated and at the end there was a total satisfaction for the participant. I got to know that different topics can have influence on an event.

What is the local social-web-tech scene like in Lomé?

It supports democracy through public discussions on community life and allows information to be provided to local authorities. It contributes to the development of sustainable tourism. Local social web tech in Lomé is not yet efficient in our community but local Medias are very popular in local interactive programs.

How do you envision Net Tuesday events evolving over time?

As community multi-media centre to stimulate and demystify the ICT and software; an unique community consulting platform for nonprofits organisation issues.

What's your change-the-world philosophy?

Innovations and community initiative is the main philosophy we promote to make change through involving technology.

What music are you listening to now-a-days?

Techno and gospels occasionally.
