UK Charities needed for Virtual Promise

nfpsynergy logoNFPSynergy, the only specialist research consultantcy for nonprofit organizations in the UK, wants to hear from your organization for the next Virtual Promise report.   Over the last seven years, Virtual Promise has provided a unique insight into the use of the internet by charities in the UK.

With growing numbers of participants every year and readers from around the globe, we're told it's the only way charity professionals can compare and benchmark their new media activity, priorities and investment.

NFPSynergy is conducting this research for the eighth time to continue its examination of trends and to keep pace with the changes experienced by everyone involved in online activity. "The report is based on a survey of UK charities, and the more people take part, the more useful the results will be."

If you are a nonprofit organization in the UK, big or small, visit http://www.nfpsynergy.net/virtualpromise08 to fill in the survey.   To download and read the previous Virtual Promise reports, and other research from NFPSynergy, visit the free reports area of the website.

Re:UK Charities needed for Virtual Promise

Virtual Promise is the only piece of regular research into UK charities use of the Internet / new media. I have supported it since it began in 2000, helping with the design of the questionnaire and completing it for CAF when I worked there. I have found it invaluable: as a yardstick for what uses charities are making from the Internet, as a data set for internal and external presentations to educate, evangelise or analyse, and as a perpective on the trends, opportunities, challenges and contradictions inherent in working in the online field.
