From the 5th-7th of December 2008, SICamp will bring together 80 participants, including some of the "best of the UK's developers and designers with those at the sharp end of social problems. Their mission will be to accelerate six back-of-the-envelop ideas to working prototype web tools that could change the world in under 48 hours."
The last SICamp took place earlier this year in April. The team recently got together to analize what stood out about the projects and helped nail down the winners. You can read the SICamp post here, which identifies the three most important traits as: proof of potential, people power, and technology (but not just for geeks).
