Got an idea that uses technology to create social change?

You've only got until midnight this Friday 20th May to submit your idea to Social Innovation Camp June 2011.

We're looking for the best ideas that use technology to change something that matters - whether that's healthcare, education, the environment, your local community or anything else that's important.

From the ideas submitted to us, we'll be choosing the best to join us from 17th-19th June 2011 at the Informatics Ventures Forum in Edinburgh, UK to turn those early-stage ideas into real working projects.

Anyone can submit an idea - whether you're a seasoned hacker or technology's something completely new to you.

We're looking for back-of-the-envelope ideas, not lengthy proposals or business plans.

This time around, we're especially interested in ideas focused on tackling social isolation - read more here.

And we've posted a few hints and tips on writing a really good Social Innovation Camp idea too.

You can find further information on our website: www.sicamp.org, including examples of past Social Innovation Camp winning ideas.

So get thinking - we're looking forward to reading about your idea!
