We've launched the N2Y4 Reflection Forum!

The "a-ha" moments and open questions from the N2Y4 Conference are aggregated and shared in the N2Y4 Reflection Forum to keep the conversations going. You can comment on and vote for different ideas and questions, and you can even add your own ideas.

Check out the N2Y4 Reflection Forum and learn more!

N2Y3Con: Project Carnival

Hi there, Brenda Hough again, live-blogging from the Project Carnival at that NetSquared Conference. During the Project Carnival, conference attendees were able to visit table displays and chat with representatives from each of the 21 Featured Projects. One of the big challenges non-profits face is knowing how-to effectively communicate their message and mission in brief opportunities (I have heard this referred to as having your 'elevator speech' ready). During the carnival, it was interesting to watch the various project representatives work to help many, many people understand the importance and potential of their projects in a short timeframe. The carnival lasted for 90 full minutes and it was amazing to see how the energy level remained high even as time went by. Check out photos from each of the projects. Remember that we're not only here to learn about these projects, but also to vote on how much prize money each featured project will receive. It's going to be tough to decide!

(PS I'm cross-posting and adding some additional thoughts from a librarian's perspective over on the MaintainIT blog.)
