Hey Chicagoland!

Beth Kanter and I are coming to your town this week.

We'll be joining Chi-Town's social changemakers and web innovators at Net Tuesday Chicago on June 10th from 6-8 PM at ITA (Illinois Technology Association).

June 11th and 12th we'll be speaking at the Making Media Connections Conference 2008 presented by Community Media Workshop.

Beth will be teaching a "Social Media Game for Nonprofits" workshop on Wednesday, and giving one of the keynotes, "New Media: The Wizard Behind the Curtain," on Thursday. I'll be teaching a "Nonprofit Blogging 101" and a "Nonprofit Podcasting 101" workshop on Wednesday. We'll both be on the closing panel on Thursday, "Community Media Update Roundtable," along with Charles Benton of the Benton Foundation, Pierre Clark of Chicago Digital Access Alliance, and Heather Mansfield of Diosa Communications. Thom Clark, President of Community Media Workshop, will moderate.
