
July 15th, 12 Noon Eastern time, the Chronicle of Philanthropy will host an online event, Building Your Online Presence on a Tight Budget.
Beth Kanter and Jonathon Colman will facilitate the discussion. Here are their bios from the Chronicle of Philanthropy site:
Beth Kanter is a nonprofit technology consultant in Boston who specializes in helping charities use social media tools. She is also the author of Beth's Blog, which dispenses advice to nonprofit leaders on how to use online tools to communicate with supporters.
Jonathon D. Colman is the associate director of digital marketing for The Nature Conservancy in Arlington, Va., where he leads the strategic marketing and promotion of the organization's Web site: www.nature.org. The site saw a 72 percent increase in unique visitors in 2007 using many of the techniques that will be discussed by Mr. Colman during this event. They will respond to questions and comments about these issues on Tuesday, July 15, at 12 noon, U.S. Eastern time. Readers are welcome to post questions and comments now.
