Double the Net Tuesday fun in DC and SF and Online Tonight

We've got three NetSquared Meetups happening tonight. One on each coast and one in the comfort of your own home.

The Washington DC NetSquared Meetup group will be getting together tonight at 7 PM at the Science Club (1136 19th St NW).  Ryan Ozimek, CEO of Picnet.net, will be speaking,  Picnet will be releasing Soapbox soon, an open source software to help campaigns manage online communities and messaging.

The San Francisco NetSquared Meetup group will be meeting tonight at 6 PM at NetSquared Headquarters (322 Ritch St., 2nd Floor) to talk about how nonprofits can use Second Life.  Susan Tenby, Online Community Manager of TechSoup.org, and Jeska Dzwigalski, Community Manager at Linden Lab, (the company that created and runs Second Life), will present a tour of this online community and demo a directory of nonprofit organizations in the Second Life world.

You can attend this Net Tuesday from the comfort of your home, by going to http://tinyurl.com/ogbpd
From Second Life, click on the blue map button at the bottom of the screen. In the Find Region field, type "TechSoup.org" (without quotations) and include mature regions, click Show Location and then Teleport to go there.
