Is your nonprofit on YouTube? I found 76 videos on YouTube tagged with "nonprofit" (a search for videos tagged with NGO brought up 377 entries, but it looks like the majority of them are by or about people with the last name Ngo). Many of the "nonprofit" videos were by people creating pieces for and about nonprofit projects, but not many were created by nonprofits themselves.
I thought this video by Pedals for Progress was well done (it has had 687 views since March 30, 2006), as was this one by the Grameen Foundation (it has had 167 views since June 1, 2006).
What are other nonprofits who you think are using YouTube well?
Anyone using YouTube Annotations?
Hi, anyone know of any non-profits using the interactivity now available using the new YouTube Annotations functionality?
I've outlined what Annotations can do in this blog post, and am looking-out for non-profits testing it out.
Tracking Nonprofits on YouTube
I am running a directory of Faith Based Nonprofits that are on YouTube. I have found 50 organizations doing international mission work. You can check view them at http://ministrytube.blogspot.com.
YouTube
I don't know that I'd say we're using it well, as of yet, but we are starting to upload videos we've created, as well as use YouTube as a place to just exhibit some raw footage that we are using for yet to be completed video projects.
We don't have that much capacity to do video work, so its kind of catch-as-catch-can.
Would appreciate any feedback.
