Happy New Year!
I'm guessing that lots of nonprofits and NGO's have made a New Year's resolution to incorporate the social web into their work, but they don't know where to begin.
Many of you have areas of expertise about how to use the social web for social change that would be of great benefit to them.
Would you be willing to give a half hour phone consult (the consultee pays for the call) to a nonprofit or NGO about your area of Net2 expertise (i.e. aggregation, blogging, content management, e-mail, podcasting, RSS, social networking, wikis, cell phones/SMS, social bookmarking, tagging, vlogging, widgets, fundraising with the social web, marketing with the social web, advocacy with the social web, community building with the social web, etc.)?
If so, please post in the comments of this post by Friday, January 5th, at 5 PM PST like so:

If you have a blog and think your readers would be interested in donating their expertise, please encourage them to share their info. in the comments of this post.
Let's make the "season of giving" last beyond December.

Seeking Wikimaster for the Environment Foundation in UK
Hi!
This post is really timely!
I'm on a scounting mission for a topclass wikimaster who is passionate about all things environmental to volunteer with the Environmental Foundation in the UK. The Trustees (http://www.environmentfoundation.net/trustees.htm) of the Environment Foundation (http://www.environmentfoundation.net/) have decided to develop a new programme using the history, experience, successes and failures of the environmental movement to illuminate the critical challenges the planet now faces and the strategies required to tackle them. This will involve:o The development of a Wiki-resource and website environment for documenting, critiquing and rethinking competing models of environmentalism.
We'd be interested in any advice someone can offer on how we can run this wiki so that it's a sustainable and valuable resource. I've got more information on the brief if this is of interest to anyone, we're looking for someone with real passion and expertise, this will be a fascinating journey for all of us! Please comment below if this is of any interest to anyone, I'd love to find out how to make this work. Thanks BronwynName: Mikel MaronArea of
