"What are you building?" "Why are you building what you are building?"
These were the questions posed during a talk by Eric Rigaud, the Director of TouchDC, before David Weinberger's keynote at the 2007 Nonprofit Technology Conference this morning. He asked attendees to remember that they are not working for their boss, they are not working for their funder, they are working for "the people." Consequently, when you build something: "Build something that reflects the change you want to see in the world." 07ntc
