Put Your Nonprofit on YouTube, Win the Nobel Peace Prize

 
OK, not really, but it couldn't hurt, right?  If you haven't heard already, the Grameen Bank and its founder, Muhammad Yunus were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize today.  Check out Breaking Through Poverty with Microfinance by the Grameen Foundation USA on YouTube.

While I'm not sure our YouTube video was the initial inspiration for the prize, I hope it might have played a small role in the selection committee's research.

Seriously, thanks for the recognition; we're thrilled that Professor Yunus has received this great honor.  And for those who aren't yet familiar with the power of microfinance to fight poverty, please take a moment to learn more about microfinance. Thanks for your support!

An inspired choice

Ken - congrats to all at Grameen. The best news in ages. I once met Prof Yunus when I worked for Oxfam UK in the late 80s.
