Last week, TechSoup's Senior Manager of Online Community Development, Susan Tenby, was one of the people who testified before the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Energy and Commerce's Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet. The hearing's topic was, "Online Virtual Worlds: Applications and Avatars in a User-Generated Medium."
Last night, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart did a segment on the hearings called, "Avatar Heroes." A piece of Susan's testimony was featured. For those of you who are fans of the show, she even got a, "Damn you, Tenby!" from Stewart.
You can watch the segment on The Daily Show's web site, or above.
hilarious
What a pleasant surprise to see Susan pop up as I watched the Daily Show on my computer yesterday. How many emails did she receive with the subject line "Damn you, Tenby!" Besides mine, I mean.
