TextTheMob.com

Just added TextTheMob.com as a new Mashup Project to the Gallery, even though it's a little late... or early. TextTheMob.com is a feedback tool for presentations, conferences or workshops. It enables users to collect feedback (polls and messages) from their audience via mobile phone. Responses are displayed on a screen or monitor in real-time. This service is free/ad-supported.
Looking forward to your feedback.

COMMUNITYMATTERS07

The COMMUNITYMATTERS07 conference is coming to Burlington, VT, for three days of collaboration, engagement and innovation with fellow citizens, local elected officials, practitioners and professionals from across the country. Building on the success of PLACEMATTERS06, COMMUNITYMATTERS07 will pack a wide range of stimulating events and activities into three days, while still allowing participants time to connect with colleagues and explore Burlington’s beautiful city streets and surrounding landscapes. Sixteen panels fall into three tracks: Community Heart & Soul, 21st Century Issues, and Decision-Making Tools. Workshops will allow attendees to gain in-depth experience with planning tools and other topics.

iCommunity.TV - Local video news

iCommunity.TVWe just launched iCommunity.TV, a site that is probably best described as a collaborative video platform for local news. It's intended to bring together the Youtube phenomenon, geography and local communities and we like to think of it as an experiment to further explore the potential of citizen reporting. We would love to hear your feedback!
