Jumpstart Your Mobile Fundraising Campaign at the Mobile Giving Forum
In the last 6 months, mobile fundraising has POPPED! The American Red Cross raised over $32 million in text message donations after the earthquake and Haiti using mGive. Similarly, Ira Glass requests text donations through Mobile Commons at the beginning of every episode of This American Life. Whether you're already in the thick of it, or interested in getting started with a text campaign for your organization or program, the Mobile Giving Forum is an upcoming conference tackling it all!
The event will be hosted by the Mobile Giving Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps charities and non-profits fundraise through mobile devices. Their aim is to bring together various non-profit organizations, carriers, corporate foundations, and technology providers to talk about text-to-give campaign strategies and how they fit into fundraising and mobile marketing initiatives.
