Over the next two days, key influencers from around Britain and around the world are at the National Digital Inclusion Conference organizing and planing for digital inclusion in the UK. You can take part by watching the live video stream and sharing your opinions on Twitter.
As the conference organizers put it, "NDI10 Digital Participation: Passing IT on will seek to build momentum in the digital inclusion community by inspiring action and partnership and looking at practical ways in which we can ensure that this agenda can be sustained. The conference will bring together key digital inclusion players, providers, policy makers and practitioners to share best practice, make connections and practical pledges to make DI happen."
Rebecca Masisak, TechSoup Global's Co-CEO, will be speaking at the event on the topic of leveraging technology for social change. You can watch the live stream of her session tomorrow, March 11, at 9:30 am GMT. (NetSquared is an initiative of TechSoup Global.)

With the appointment of the first ever Digital Inclusion Minister, The Rt Hon. USAID launching unprecedented online brainstorming
On the issue of digital inclusion, I just want to share the news that USAID and other US Government agencies and offices are coming together to host an online brainstorming event focused on global sustainability and development. The event launches Monday and currently has participants from over 150 countries. There will be ten hot button issues discussed over three days. Registration is open here https://www.collaborationjam.com/minijam3/globalpulse2010/registration/. This event has the potential to be an amazing exchange of ideas and solutions from people in the field. Just wanted to share.

Well, unfortunately for me, they have not aired the show. So, to be fair, I missed the National digital inclusion conference. It would be really nice if you could post the video links here where I could watch the event as a whole. I guess there will be many key people here such as the digital inclusion players, policy makers, providers and practitioners! I wonder what they have come up with the decision on leveraging technology for the social changes! http://www.inin.com/ProductSolutions/Pages/Interaction-Dialer.aspx
