Complimentary Projects & the Limits of One Contest Winner
I have moved from being in a competitve mode for this contest to being one to congratulate those who already have productive teams working on health-focused mobile projects that will provide extra relief for problem areas of the world.
I think my position now for this contest would be to provide support for those pursuing projects that are:
- Health-focused
- Crisis alert focused
- Informing the public
- Provide custom support to under-developed regions
EIN's goal is to work with people who have complimentary projects and goals to provide resources and solve problems world-wide. I think I will get farther in this contest by extending my support to those involved in the above mentioned goals instead of trying to tell people I am more worthy of being funded then my competitors.
I am not bowing out of this contest but I think it would be more realistic to make a declaration that multiple projects that compliment each other could be better served by continuing to communicate after this contest in order for development to continue beyond having only one contest winner.

The aim of effective communication to the Power Users in South Africa is ultimately reduce their personal energy consumption. Less energy consumption means less coal fired generating plant which directly impact the respiratory health of the population. The effective use of communication to change consumption patterns can have direct environmental impact. Crudely speaking it is a preventable situation similar to the smoking of cigarettes which is still the #1 reason for lung cancer.
