NESTA grants for Web Technology in Public Service
The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) is launching a new grants program focused on using web technologies to design, enhance, and deliver public services. The program, formed in partnership with FutureGov, focuses on local councils, with the hope of providing a way to test innovative solutions in a real life environment.
NESTA is currently looking for live pilot project ideas ideas which use the web as a tool to shape and deliver public services. Youth issues are an area of specific interest in this project.
This grant program provides a great opportunity for local councils to find a source of funding to experiment with new methods and tools to implement change and provide services.
