Hi, I'm Joe Pezzillo, attending N2Y4 in my role as a Board Member of DAETC: The Denver Area Educational Telecommunications Consortium as part of the Grantsmakers in Film and Electronic Media delegation.  DAETC is a member of the EBS consortium of non-profit companies that broadcast educational video programming to K-12 schools on 2.4Ghz licensed spectrum.

In addition to being on the DAETC board, I'm also a long-time technologist and entrepreneur, I worked in R&D at Apple in the Online Services group in the 90s, have started or managed half-a-dozen startups over the last decade (including several in internet broadcasting), and am currently deeply involved in enterprise iPhone and mobile development for a Fortune 100 financial services company, as well as co-founding a new startup in the mobile infrastructure space. And of course, there's more to the story including involvement in community radio and election reform, but I'll try not to bore you further!

This is my first year attending Netsquared, and I'm eager to network with other funders, excited to see the innovative projects being presented, and generally look forward to meeting everyone there!
