In Celebration of Earth Day, we at Kyndle Foundation, thought we'd have some quick fun on our community sites and we're asking you to join in! We're having a blog challenge, asking our friends, "How do YOU do Green?" You can blog, take pictures and video...put it on YouTube...put it on Flickr... feature it in your podcasts...any thing to show how you do green! Make sure you leave us a comment or message to tell us where to find your personal green gallery, blog, or other media. This event culminates on April 22 at midnight. We will then choose the most exciting entries and feature them on our community sites (MySpace, Flickr, YouTube, BeGreenNow.com, etc.) And we may even be able to find some cool Kyndle merchandise for you.
So have fun! Carpool to work with your funniest co-workers. Camp Out or have a "Lights Out" (low electricity) night where you and your family or friends camp out, inside. Roast Marshmallows, tell stories ...make it a party or a romantic candlit night with your special someone. Create a green inspired collage from all the magazines and newspapers at your house, then recycle the remaining material. Plant a tree (or plant a few) with your friends. Just make sure you have fun and make it your own. For more ideas on how to be green, try these sites:
And don't forget to pick up the new Earth Day widget on the Kyndle Foundation MySpace page. You can share it with others on your community site and you can even "pop" it to your desktop, via the green button in the top right corner. So everybody have fun and show us YOUR green!
