What if bloggers were given a topic related to the net2 conference to write about on their blog? Bloggers could write about this topic during the days of the conference or even during that week.

Some questions that come to mind:
So are you seeing these people as being at the conference or outside of the conf.?
Do you see it linking into the conf. in some way?
Would people tag their entries to be pulled into a place on the Net2 site that will be displayed somehow at the conf.?
Would the blogging happen on the Net2 site primarily?
Is the purpose of this to build a bridge between people inside the conf. & without? Raise awareness on the topic? Catalog people's ideas on a topic? Respond to the topic w/ the conf. in mind?
I'm curious how you would deploy these topics and if there will be a list of "official bloggers" for each topic?
Some thoughts....

My idea
The idea was to make this be like a blog carnival, which has been a suggestion to have in the nonprofit sector. I thought as a way to reach people both at the conference and outside the conference, it would be a good idea to try this idea during the Net2 Conference.
I wanted to brainstorm ideas for possible topics that bloggers could write about in their blog not on netsquared. Before the conference, we could decide on a topic for bloggers to write about on their blog. The topic would be posted on here and we would reach out to nonprofit bloggers. The bloggers would write about the topic during the week of the 29th.
It would be great if these bloggers could tag their entries using a certain tag, but not many bloggers tag their entries. It might be better (or do this in addition to the tagging) to have a place for bloggers to submit their entries. They could either submit it someone directly by e-mail or have a page on here for them to submit it.
After that week, someone would write a blog entry with the list of the bloggers who participated in this.
