Thank you to our Project Champion

YouthAssets now has a project champion - Wendy Harmon from the Red Cross!  Thank you to Wendy, the Netsquared team and Beth Kantor for the new connection!

We have the Advisory Board all lined up for our meeting tomorrow and our Skype conference call tested today.  We will be using one of our advisory board member''s apartment - thank you to Chi.  We had one of those start-up moments finding out today that there might be "a little" construction downstairs during the call.  Luckily, we have a backup apartment around the corner.  So if you see a group of people running down 5th Avenue, Brooklyn tomorrow with laptops and speakers, it means we made it to Plan B!

We have a great team assembled for the Advisory Board - members from tech companies, a PR firm, and UNDP.  Sabelo Dlamini will be connecting with us tomorrow from Swaziland - a successful businessman and a former student of mine.  I am really looking forward to meeting together and working with such a creative group of people.  Full report of our meeting soon!

Hello Brooklyn!

My roots are in Bath Beach . . . my daughter lived just off 5th Ave. near Kleinfeld's a few years ago. I love the picture and the possibility of your sprint . . . Looking forward to seeing you in San Jose.

Small World!

Thanks for your reply to the post.  Just tested Skype to Swaziland and will be starting our meeting in a couple of hours.  I look forward to meeting you, too, in San Jose.  Always great to meet another Brooklynite!  Thanks again!

Waving hello from Boston area and smiling ..

Jennifer: Just love your phrase "Skype to Swaziland" and makes me think it would make a great title for a post about how nonprofits have used SKYPE for international work! Speaking of SKYPE, here's a few of my favorite nonprofit and skype links.
