I'm a commisioning editor working for a book publishing imprint named Jossey-Bass, which is part of a larger organization named John Wiley & Sons. I work on our Nonprofit & Social Leadership Series developing and publishing content for those working in the social sector (primarily nonprofit professionals, social entrepreneurs, volunteers and funders). On a day-to-day basis I am working to try and figure out what I can publish that will help these folks do their job better,  reach their goals  and ultimately achieve greater impact. I hit "the street" reguarly talking to people about their challenges and needs but a blog seems like a great way to reach a larger community.
