Oxfam International reports back from UN Climate Change Conference

The Oxfam International team is reporting direct from the United Nations Climate Change Conference (1 12 Dec), in Poland.

Why do we blog at events like this? Well there are many reasons but for us the big ones are:

  • It allows our supporters to see how the actions they do with us and their support, are used to influence decision makers;
  • Our blogs, RSS feeds and other syndication tools (below) allow us to easily and widely distribute our content on how climate change affects people living in poverty, to our partners and allies.
  • We can use the news buzz around the event to get our Climate Change message across to a wider audience who might not realize that Oxfam has something to say on the issue of Climate Change.

So now the hard sell.

We've set up a few ways that you can take feeds from our content -- we'd love it if you did!. All the content uses Creative Commons Licences Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs Creative Commons.

The Oxfam International team would be interested to see what you think, so please feel free add your comments and suggestions.
