Doxie needs eye operation

Well it may be bad form, but my first post is actually about another post I had put up a little while ago.  It involves a dog named Zippy.  He is a rescue Daschund, very young and needs an eye operation. The operation will end up costing around 3,000 dollars.  Without it, he will likely end up blind at a very young age. You can read my original post here under Can you help?

Or if you prefer to make a donation right now, use this link.  Zippy is in the Las Vegas area and is a wonderful little dog. He needs a guardian angel soon. If you are looking for a great Daschund to adopt or just want to help him get well, visit www.almosthomerescue.org.

My wife and I also foster dogs for various rescue groups in Las Vegas. You can view our foster dogs here.

Dogs and Nonprofit Technology

Hello Las Vegas Guy,

Welcome to the NetSquared Community blog where bloggers share posts and comments about how nonprofits and NGOs are using the social web (i.e. blogs, wikis, podcasts, news aggregation, SMS, vlogs,  social  bookmarking and social  networking)  for their work.

Even though we are very sad that your dog is sick, and hope that you are able to raise the funds you need for his operation, in the future,  we would prefer if your future posts focused on how nonprofits use the social web for social change.

Thanks!
Britt
