This is your last chance to help select the "People's Choice Award" for the Windows 8 App for Social Good: the contest ends at 11:59 PM PT Friday, March 15. That's today!

Unsure of where to start? Microsoft Citizenship has produced a voter's guide that summarizes and categorizes all the apps.

We need your expertise as nonprofit staffers and tech-for-good experts to help select the best designed, most useful Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 applications. We're turning to you because you best understand the needs of the social sector and how technology can chance the world for the better.

Voting is now open through March 15 and winners will be announced on March 25!

The winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize. You get the awesome responsibility of selecting that winner!

What do you need to do in order to vote?

  1. If you don't already have a NetSquared account (you should! you should feature your projects and participate in our community blog!) go to http://www.NetSquared.org and create a user account
  2. Select your top three projects from http://www.netsquared.org/challenge/windows-8-apps-social-good-contest and fill out your online ballot
  3. Click "submit" and you're done!

Be sure to share the contest with your community - we need your expertise to make sure the right application wins.
