I'd like to have a session on map mashups. I think it could include
* examples of interesting, powerful maps that have been implemented using the free, open APIs from Google, Yahoo! or others
* discussion/tutorial on how to do it
Who would be a good person/people to have in a session like that?

Non-Profit using Google Maps
Hi,
I am on the Board of Friends of the Urban Forest, we facilitate street tree planting in San Francisco.
We worked with the city to find 150,000 locations where street trees can be planted. We have planted 40,000 trees in 25 years.
I have worked with some engineers to showcase a demo where we have taken the 150,000 locations on Google Maps and showing people where trees can be planted. We have implications of having the ability to pay for a tree or dedicate a tree online.
I think that most non-profits want to have ways to make money from technology and this is an idea that we are advocating. Let me know what you think.
