Hi: I'm Senior Manager for Planning and Analysis for TechSoup Global. I'm focused on strategic planning and program business planning for our social enterprises. In recent months, I've been looking into how the cloud and other new technology trends can be leveraged by civil society and how TechSoup Global should change its programs to respond to technology and industry changes.

TechSoup - Cloud Computing resources for non-profits
Hi Mark,
Let's connect at the Tech Soup meeting if possible, to discuss how we can leverage Cloud Computing resources for non-profit uses.
At VMware we're exploring how to best apply cloud computing resources (some of it free) and volunteers with technical skills for non-profit uses. We already help companies package (virtualize) in-house software applications into Virtual Machines (VMs) that can run on any computer, or be moved to the 'Cloud' where they can be accessed remotely by multiple users. Since it's cloud based, they could be used from anywhere in the world. Regards,
