Still enjoying the buzz from another great meetup last night here in our nation's capitol. Not only did we have a much, much improved location, but we also had an impressive turnout and two great speakers -- Jeff Regen from Defenders of Wildlife and Rosalyn Lemieux from MoveOn.org.
Check out the roundup that Usha posted here, and then flip through our latest photos (don't worry, we were much happier than some of the photos might suggest)... Any others i'm missing?
In addition to sharing their experiences with large-scale virtual marches and petitions, I thought both speakers did a nice job of launching us into a few different directions for discussion -- from the broad question of what petitions might look like in the future to creative twists andeven to more speciific questions about email delivery obstacles and net neutrality.
Thanks to everyone who could join us -- really was an impressive turnout and a fun evening. Our big goal right now is to figure out how to open up some lines of communciations for our group between meetups so that we stay better connected... Justin and I are brainstorming this now and are open to all ideas. See you in June!
