My day job is as Executive Director of Computer-Using Educators (cue.org). We provide educational technology resourcess for thousands of educators throughout California, host a rockin' annual conference in Palm Springs, and publish a quarterly journal, blogs, podcasts and e-newsletters for our members.
Prior to this gig, i coordinated ed tech at the Orange County Department of Education, and taught high school English and web design for 10 years.
I'll be keeping an eye out for emerging educational uses of web 2.0 tools and be offering my feeble insights on how cutting edge educators can implement them tomorrow!

Hey Mike
I'm with you on the educational uses angle. I'm really hoping to talk to some folks about CMS design and ASB possibilities. I'll take the suggestion given in the comments thread to suggest some topics for sessions. See you there.

Hey, Teacher, Leave Those Kids Alone! The Decentralization of Expertise and the Creation of Community Knowledge Bases. It's not directly about education but I think the topic -- how we archive, share and create knowledge and what happens when institutions like schools and libraries are not the center of that activity, might be related -- even if not directly relevant.
